Is Merge PDF free?
There is no free tier: every job consumes credits from a one-time pack. In exchange there is no monthly subscription, no forced recurring billing, and your credits stay valid while your account is active.
Do I need to install software or create an account?
No installation or plugin is needed — everything runs in your browser, on desktop and mobile. You do need an account so that credits can be assigned to you and your results can be downloaded.
Is my file safe, and how long is it kept?
Files are uploaded over HTTPS and processed by our PDF processing infrastructure. We do not retain original or result files long-term after processing is complete. The maximum file size is 25 MB.
