1. Data Controller

The data controller for the Service is the operator of PDF Converter (master-converter.com). For privacy-related requests, please contact us at the email address in Section 14.

• Account information: Email address you provide when registering or logging in. Passwords are stored as salted hashes; we do not store plaintext passwords.
• Payment information: Transaction amount, currency and payment status. We do not collect or store full card numbers or payment credentials. Card data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake.
• File content: Documents you upload for conversion are sent to third-party processing infrastructure to perform the requested operation. We do not retain original or result files long-term after processing is complete.
• Technical information: Device type, browser, access IP, operation logs and session data, used for security protection and service operations.
• Communication records: Emails, support tickets or feedback you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain and improve conversion and account services.
• Process credit purchases and orders.
• Send necessary transactional emails about account, password reset and purchases.
• Provide customer support.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We keep account information for the life of your account and for a reasonable period after deletion to meet legal, accounting or fraud-prevention requirements. Transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Conversion files are not retained long-term after processing.

With your consent, we may send promotional communications. You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Service-related notices (billing, security, policy updates) cannot be opted out of.

10. Cross-border Data Transfers

The Service runs on cloud infrastructure located outside your country of residence (including the United States). Your information may be stored and processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. This Policy applies only to information we collect directly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
